CHEBUKATI reveals the whole truth about hacking of IEBC servers by ‘Jubilee hackers’

Friday August 11, 2017-IEBC
Chairman Wafula Chebukati has moved to allay fears that the commission’s
servers were hacked by Jubilee hackers to rig Raila Odinga’s victory as alleged
by the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Speaking
yesterday, Chebukati admitted that indeed some hackers attempted to hack into
the IEBC system just as claimed by the Opposition but were not successful.

Chebukati
noted that the technology in which IEBC servers are developed cannot allow any
external interference and therefore the server system is still secure and
intact.

He told
Raila Odinga not to worry as no one had hacked the IEBC system to rig him.

NASA had vehemently
accused Jubilee Party of hacking the IEBC system to display a geometric progression
that puts Uhuru Kenyatta ahead by over 11% of votes.
